The e-commerce platforms and the purchase through mobile applications or other technologies are generating a structural change in the retail sector that causes demand to be triggered in the “appropriate locations”.

With this hypothesis as a starting point and from the data from more than 6,000 sensors installed inside and outside Spanish commercial establishments, in TC Group Solutions we have prepared this 2015 BIG DATA study on consumer behavior in Spanish commercial streets throughout of 2015, revealing average values of pedestrian traffic and other indicators such as the cost per potential customer, the attraction ratio and the conversion ratio, to calculate the profitability of each streets and commercial premises. Finally, the study has also devoted a specific chapter to the analysis of consumer behavior for the fashion sector.
