L’Oréal is growing in Spain thanks to NYX
The giant of the cosmetic industry L’Oréal grow together with NYX in the Spanish market. The company has just signed the opening of a new establishment for its make-up brand in Madrid. The chain, which already has a lot of shops in Spain, is still looking forward new locations in different cities such as Valencia, in order to open more point of sales.
The new shop is going to be placed at the 49th in Via Goya, next to the Hotel Catalonia. It has a surface of 100 square meters, within which NYX has the possibility to distribute the complete make-up line. Morgan Alliance was the real-estate consultant who was the middle-man during the operations.
L’Oréal, after bound itself with NYX in 2014, arrived in Europe in November of the last year with opening of a flagship store at the 8th in Carrer Fuencarral in Madird. With this operation, the multinational launch a new challenge to the retail market and Spain in fact, it has already installed different pint of sales under the brand L’Oréal Paris. Later, NYX opens a boutique in Barcelona, at the 1st in Calle Cucurulla.
The last move of NYX in Spain, was the set-up of a flagship store in the Gran Vía of Madrid, where it inaugurates a point of sales at the number 36th which is bigger than 100 squares meters. In addition, NYX counts with two other stores in the shopping center of Parquesur and La Vaguada.
The l’Oréal invoice at the end of 2015 reached 25.257,4 million euros. Taking into consideration its division, the brand positioned itself at 7.230 million euros with a grow of 16,7% respect to the previous execise.
